Converse Rubber Tracks is closing in on a very successful year of operations. Brad was brought on board to consult on the design, staffing and gear almost two years ago and he ended up staying on full time to run the show. The music-studio complex in Williamsburg, Brooklyn includes a class-A, multitrack recording studio stocked with state of the art gear and staffed by experienced professionals. The 5,000 square foot space also includes a video/audio production room, rehearsal and public event space. Unsigned artists are given the chance to record their music for free with no strings attached. Check out some the content and great bands that have come through so far.

The Soundwag record label has launched! Our first release is, "Shine" by Amenity (EP and remix EP to follow). The punk anthem has become a huge hit in the band's native southern California, getting commercial airplay on several stations. The video is an intimate peek into real life San Diego experiences and features cameos by a bevy of pro skaters and locals. The EP was mixed by Brad and mastered by Andy VanDette (Mastermix). Brad also created all the sound design in the video.

The Nike/iTunes alliance is a big success. Soundwag played a huge part in all things sonic related to this partnership, from producing Nike's very popular "Coaching Mixes" to producing, editing and scoring a series of interview programs for the Nike website.

Locked’s latest original, “Broken Disco” spent much of last year getting heavy rotation in some of NYC's biggest dance clubs where DJ's like Danny Tenaglia and Roger Sanchez were dropping it. The Rock-House track has already been remixed by Scumfrog, Astro & Glyde and DJ Fame. Look for it soon on the Soundwag digital label, hopefully as part of the long anticipated Locked full-lenghth release.
